What the materials described on this site may and may not be used for, who they are for, and Genetic Elements's role — which is not that of a supplier.
1. Scope
This policy applies to every material described on geneticelements.com and to every visitor to it. It applies in addition to our Terms of Use.
By using this site, submitting an enquiry, or following an ordering link, you agree to this policy.
2. Laboratory research use only
Materials of the kind described on this site are supplied strictly for laboratory research use by qualified purchasers. Genetic Elements does not itself supply them.
They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition.
Materials must not be administered to humans or animals under any circumstances, and must not be resold, repackaged or redistributed for any such purpose.
3. Who these materials are for
Materials of this kind are supplied to research institutions, contract and independent laboratories, and qualified investigators purchasing on behalf of a facility.
Genetic Elements does not sell materials. Ordering is fulfilled by an independent partner supplier, and that supplier sets and enforces its own purchaser requirements, attestations and terms of sale.
We do not direct this site at individuals seeking materials for personal use, and we do not market it to them.
4. Purchaser responsibility
The purchaser is solely responsible for confirming that the intended use of any material is lawful and appropriate for their facility, and for compliance with all applicable institutional, local, state, national and international requirements.
The purchaser is responsible for the safe handling, storage, use and disposal of materials by trained personnel, and for reviewing the applicable safety data sheet before handling.
5. How ordering works
Genetic Elements publishes specifications, analytical documentation and quality information. It does not sell materials, take payment, hold title or ship.
Links on this site that lead to ordering take you to an independent partner supplier, which is a separate company with its own terms of sale, privacy policy, pricing, purchaser requirements and shipping restrictions. Your order is with that supplier, not with us.

6. We do not provide use guidance
Genetic Elements does not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution, preparation or protocol guidance, and does not supply injection accessories, diluents or personal-use kits.
We can help with what a specification means, how to read a certificate of analysis, and what to require of a supplier. We cannot answer questions about human or animal use, and will not. Order, shipping and payment questions belong to the supplier that fulfils your order.
Health questions should be directed to a licensed healthcare professional.
7. No efficacy or safety claims
Statements published by Genetic Elements are limited to product identity, specification, analytical results, handling and documentation.
Analytical documentation, including certificates of analysis, describes the tested attributes of a specific lot. It is not a representation that a material is safe or suitable for human or animal use, and must not be presented as one.
8. Enforcement
We may withdraw access to this site, decline to refer an enquiry, and report conduct to the partner supplier where we believe this policy has been or may be breached.
